Becca Battaglini is the Director of the Lifetime Fitness and Physical Activity Programs. She leads a team of over 40 Teacher Assistants to deliver the activity courses to UNC students in 140 sections of classes. The Lifetime Fitness program has recently been nationally recognized as a model for other universities and colleges with the integration of the many components involved in the class (lectures in health and wellness, labs on fitness and nutrition, and incorporating physical activity throughout the semester).

Becca has her M.A. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado and a B.A. in Biology from Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska. She earned the Fellowship of Christian Athletes College Athlete of the Year in Nebraska, Who’s Who nomination at Hastings College, and earned a Sports Woman of the Year Nomination from the Colorado Women’s Sports Award Program. She was also First Team All NAIA for Volleyball.

Becca and her husband have 3 children, Gabriella, Lucca, and Vincent.
